1. Overview & Core Privacy Architecture

RemoveAIMeta.online (“we”, “our”, or “the Service”) operates as an independent privacy utility designed to inspect, strip supported metadata from supported file formats, and generate a cleaned copy for download. We believe that privacy tools should collect as little information as technically practical.

We operate on a strict Zero Data Retention standard: we do not require user accounts, do not collect email addresses, do not build user profiles, and do not retain uploaded files beyond the immediate processing and download lifecycle.

2. File Processing & Retention Lifecycles

When you submit a file for metadata removal, it is handled according to the following automated lifecycle:

• Encrypted Transit: Files are transferred directly to private temporary cloud object storage (Amazon S3) using short-lived cryptographic presigned upload URLs over TLS encryption.
• Isolated Processing: Dedicated processing worker tasks fetch the file into a temporary, isolated, randomized memory directory.
• Immediate Input Deletion: The original uploaded file is permanently deleted from storage as soon as sanitization and verification finish.
• Expiring Cleaned Output: The cleaned file is assigned an ephemeral download link that expires after 5 minutes. Files are purged upon user download or automatically expired by storage lifecycle rules after 1 hour.
• No Permanent Storage: We maintain zero permanent user file backups or archives.

3. Metadata & Operational Logging Restrictions

Our system adheres to strict metadata non-logging rules:

• No Sensitive Values Logged: We never log, store, or transmit GPS coordinates, camera hardware serial numbers, author names, document text, or private file contents.
• Operational Metrics Only: System logs record only high-level operational diagnostics: timestamp (UTC), processing duration, file size category, and technical success/failure exit codes.
• Rate Limiting & Abuse Prevention: Client IP addresses are evaluated in a transient sliding-window memory store solely to prevent denial-of-service and AWS cost abuse.

4. Cookies, Google AdSense & Advertising

To keep our core utility completely free for all users worldwide without subscriptions or mandatory paywalls, we support contextual and privacy-compliant advertising via Google AdSense (Publisher ID: ca-pub-4586090875241847).

In regions subject to specific privacy frameworks (such as the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and relevant US states), we support Google-certified Consent Management Platforms (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). Non-essential advertising and tracking cookies are only activated in accordance with your explicit consent choices.
